Good morning! Please give a warm welcome to Cajun from Blooming in Bedlam today! I met this super cool gal at the Bloggy Boot Camp conference in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago, and we hit it off right from the start! I’ve been devouring Cajun’s posts ever since, and she’s here to talk about awesome DIY beauty products and her discovery of essential oils! Enjoy!
Hi there! I’m Cajun from Blooming in Bedlam. I’m really excited to be invited to share my favorite skin care recipes with you Pampered Vegan readers. Baylie and I met in Atlanta a couple weeks ago, and we immediately wanted to post swap due to our similar healthy-living lovin’ blogs! At the time, we had no idea how much we actually had in common! For example, if you come visit my site, you’ll notice that we have the same framework, theme, and color scheme! Additionally, we’re both loving Nashville life with our husbands (who are the same age) and have similar 9 to 5 jobs.
Anyway, I hope to see you guys again for another visit soon! For now though, I’m proud to share with you how easy (and luxurious) it is to try diy beauty products for yourself. I tried to offer a product for most needs, but feel free to let me know if you’re looking for something you don’t see here!
First up, my Apricot Face Scrub is a two ingredient all natural alternative to a popular face scrub (which shall remain nameless), but with no harsh chemicals, perfumes or irritating dyes. Plus it’s cheaper to make than buy! You’ll never miss the store-bought version and you can scrub happy knowing fake ingredients won’t be irritating your skin.
If you constantly find yourself counting new dark spots in the mirror before covering them up with concealer, you’ll love my Dark Spot Reducing Soothing Facial Toner. Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, Lavender & Helichrysum Essential Oils combine to reduce dark spots & soothe redness. So easy to make and you won’t believe the results!
Are you plagued by Varicose Veins and Spider Veins? My Mango Almond Body Butter is here to save the day! It sounds complicated, but I literally made this body butter with one hand after I fractured my right arm. This is the creamiest, dreamiest moisturizer I’ve ever used (much less made). You’ll absolutely love it.
If you have pale problems like me, you definitely need my Nourishing & Natural Bronzer Oil. With Coconut Oil & Shea Butter, your dry skin will feel supple. Bronze Mica is a safe all natural colorant. No Orange and no self-tanner smell! Just a natural beautiful glow without chemicals. Before and after pictures included.
Finally, if you don’t read anything else, I hope you will read about How Essential Oils Changed My Beauty Routine. This post has my must have oils for sleeping better, longer eyelashes, battling dark spots and acne scars, and preventing and correcting wrinkles. All my best tips and tricks summed up in one post for your reading pleasure!
Extra special thanks to Baylie for having me over to guest post today! I hope you found some useful information, and please feel free to come visit me again over at Blooming in Bedlam. You can also find me on Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ & Instagram!
I hope you enjoyed Cajun’s post today, I know I fell in love with essential oils and plan to make many of the beauty products featured on her blog! As we all know, what we put in our body is just as important as what we put on it, so why don’t we use less chemicals and have a little fun with DIY while we’re at it!
